Shipping dimensions
There are two boxes shipped with every Adjustable Frame: the “custom box” and the “technical box,” which is universal. The only exception is for the split king, which is made up of 2 Twin XLs and requires 4 total boxes (2 custom and 2 technical). The custom box includes everything that is size specific (platforms and widthwise crossbar), while the technical box contains everything else (electrical, legs, hardware, etc). Can I put the base together by myself?
While it's recommended and easier to put together with a pair of adults, the adjustble bed frame can be assembled with one person. Assembly takes between 10 and 20 minutes for two adults, between 15 and 25 minutes for one.
What if 2 people prefer different frame adjustments?
A great option for couples it to purchase 2 Twin XL bases and 2 Twin XL mattresses so each side can adjust appropriately. 2 Twin XL's together equal the same size bed as a standard king mattress.
